Wim Sarens is CEO at Sarens and a Board Member, leading the company’s global operations and strategic direction. He joined Sarens in 2008 and became CEO the following year. Under his leadership, the company expanded its footprint to more than 70 countries, with upwards of 6,000 employees and a turnover of approximately €850 million.
Wim holds degrees in Electronics Engineering and Business Economics from KU Leuven, as well as an MBA from INSEAD.
Before joining Sarens he worked as a management consultant at McKinsey & Company in Brussels and Paris.
He continues to drive Sarens’ growth through innovation, digital transformation, and investments in cutting-edge heavy lifting and transport technologies, with a strong focus on safety, sustainability, and excellence in project delivery.
