Dean joined Tadano in 2019 and became COO in 2022 of Tadano America Corporation. In 2023, he was appointed as President & CEO of Tadano America Corporation and Tadano Mantis Corporation, overseeing both companies along with all Tadano operations and strategic initiatives across the Pan-American region.

As part of Tadano’s global growth strategy, his responsibilities expanded further in January 2025 when he also assumed the role of President & CEO of Manitex International (Manitex, PM, Oil & Steel and Valla).

In October 2025, Dean’s role broadened once again to include leadership of sales, customer support, marketing, and quality functions in Europe, strengthening alignment across regions and supporting Tadano’s global long-term strategic goals.

With a 35-year career in the equipment industry, Dean began as an engineer at Benford Ltd. in England before transitioning to Terex Corporation, where he held various leadership roles, including Vice President & General Manager of Terex Cranes Americas.

Since joining Tadano in 2019, he has led significant initiatives such as the integration of Demag and the execution of the global One Tadano strategy. His focus on streamlining operations, enhancing customer experience, and expanding support infrastructure has strengthened Tadano’s presence across the Pan-American region and now plays a key role in advancing the company’s growth in Europe as well.
